Do you like to hear about your partner's exes? Does it make you jealous or forge greater intimacy?

IMO, talking about this kind of stuff mostly invites trouble. It makes me and my husband jealous, and in the end it doesn't help anything. Our relationship is only OURS- it has nothing to do with others. I guess some people continue to be friends with their exes and then I guess one would have to discuss that with their partner at some point, but neither of us are in that situation.  This is just our thoughts on it. I know others feel differently and that's cool, it doesn't isn't for us. We would much rather spend our time and energy on our relationship and its future, not dwelling in the past unnecessarily.

Writer's Block: Expand on this

Where do you draw the line between habit and addiction? What's the longest uninterrupted period of time you spent gaming?

Gaming? If you mean GAMBLING- maybe 20 minutes :P If you mean RPGs or video games....OH BOY. 3 days straight probably. And I can almost guarantee it was playing either Sims or Neverwinter Nights 2.

Writer's Block: Time in a bottle

If you could eliminate all the calendars, clocks, and measurements of time, how would it change your life? How about the world?

People are always complaining about "more time". I get that- I often run out of time when doing things. However, if there was no TIME- if we had ALL the time in the world/time had no rules- everything would lose meaning. Why do anything? Why care? What would be the motivation to ACT? So, no, I would not want to get rid of measurements of time.

Writer's Block: Homeward bound

How would you describe your dream home?

OLD. With lots of neat little nooks and crannies. A neat loft area with one of those cool spiral, iron staircases (which would TOTALLY become a gamer's haven :P ).  A HUGE kitchen with a giant fireplace. An even bigger library with an even BIGGER fireplace. A large plot of land with rolling hills and tranquil gardens and areas for Horses and other animals. A pond with fish and toads, surrounds by trees, hopefully willows. The outside of the house would be dark stone covered in moss and vines.  Lots of big windows.

Happy Birthday!

A very merry birthday to the_lessa !

Long time no see!

Have A LOT going on. Being a mom (and getting really down in the dumps), watching Dr. Who, researching the history of clothing (mostly from 600 AD to 1950's), seeing my little-dude grow (like a weed. A freaky MUTANT weed). Watching more Dr. Who.

Hoping I can get into this blogging thing again. Although I might be starting a more in depth blog somewhere else. I need an outlet. Somewhere to let my geek-flag fly! Before I just posted all kinds of random crap here, but now I want to blog with purpose! At least most of the time.

I want to talk about...

My experiences at the SCA (just starting)
Learning to sew
Bollywood reviews
My new Gluten-Free Diet
My experiences as a new mom with Asperger Syndrome

As an Aspie, I collect A LOT of info on my special-interests in my head. If I don't SPEW it somewhere, it becomes a horrid jumble and gives me brain-owies. Problem is that I need uninterrupted time when I am not exhausted...otherwise I write terribly- like this :P Not my best.

Still, just wanted to get this out there. IF I end up writing a different blog somewhere I will link it here.

Off to bed to rest my weary head.

Writer's Block: Rotten tomatoes

What is the worst movie you've ever seen? Did you sit through it or walk out? What made it so dreadful?

Chill Factor. That horrible tripe with Cuba Gooding, jr. and Skeet Ulrich. My friends made me see it. They were my ride. That is the ONLY reason I was 1) there in the 1st place and 2) didn't walk out. Spiderman 3 was a close 2nd. But again, my friends were my ride so I didn't leave. I was pissed though.

Writer's Block: Like mobile for chocolate

If you had to give up either chocolate or your mobile phone forever, which would you sacrifice?

Chocolate. I am not a huge fan. I do like it, but after a little bit, I'm done. Plus, chocolate can't be used to call someone in an emergency. Not a big phone person either, but I do not feel safe out without a phone in case some emergency happens. Nowadays it's just dumb to be out without one in case of an accident or your car breaking down.
Are there any classic holiday movies or TV shows that you look forward to watching year after year? What are your all-time favorites? Are there any you simply can't stand?

My family always watches Trains, Planes, and Automobiles (we of course watch that on Thanksgiving as well). We also usually watch National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. Both make us laugh until we cry :D
As for ones I can't stand, honestly I can't stand MOST holiday films. They are super cliched and cheesy- filled with bad acting and bad writing. I think my LEAST fav is Home Alone. God I hate that movie. Then again, I worked with kids for like 10 years and was forced to watched it (and its HORRIBLE series of sequels) over and over.

Some I am hoping to see this year that I haven't seen in a long time (or at all) are Love Actually and A Christmas Story. I have of course seen the latter many times, but not in a good many years. I know it's looped on the TV though pretty much constantly the 48 hours around Christmas day though so I'm sure I can catch it. I haven't seen Love Actually yet, I do know my parents love it and watch it often. Maybe I can see that one too...
