-I love my little BooBah- he is my everything! We made one AWESOME kid, if I do say so myself :P
-I love my man more than anything as well, and NO I will not "Cyber" with you. Your attempts will be met with anger.
-I don't mind meeting new people as long as they are respectful and not stupid. Stupid people REALLY irritate me. You can be air-headed, that's different.
-Do NOT contact me if you want to for the following reasons:
*You want to "save" me, tell me "the good news", or ask if I've "found" Jesus. Not interested.
*U, like, totally think I'm gr8 and want to be BFF!!!11!1! Speak English!
*You want to tell me about a great opportunity/sale/book/fill-in-blank with shameless promotion. I find what I want and I don't need someone to figure out what I need for me.

OK, now that that is said...La La La, random me stuff:
-I grew-up watching Bollywood movies (I'm attempting to learn some Hindi. So far "deewane" means crazy....and "nimbooda" means sour lime/lemon thing...)
-my favorite childhood story is "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" (hence the title of my journal)
-My family calls me Dodo or Dodo bird (hence my profile name)
-My background is Scottish ("If it's not sco'ish, it's CRRRAP!"), English, German, and Dutch- not necessarily in that order.
-My favorite actor is Steve Buscemi
-My fav movie is Reservoir Dogs
-Quentin Tarantino once followed me for a block while he stared at my ass. It was scary. I mean, I like his work, but the man is really creepy...
-I used to think I was lactose intolerant, but ACTUALLY I am Gluten sensitive.
-I'm allergic to Kiwi (not the people, the fruit)
-My favorite animal is the noble squirrel :D
-I used to be scared of spiders, but since I had to dissect a HUGE one in the lab I'm not so scared of lil garden ones anymore.
-Indiana Jones is my hero
-Bob Dylan is apparently a cylon...
-Starbuck better be a cylon or else that wouldn't make sense... (Screw you, BSG writers! I still think Starbuck was a cylon)
-I play the clarinet and alto sax. I'm trying to learn guitar.
-I tend to geek out and obsess over random subjects (hence the learning hindi and guitar...)
-I took a class in college that was all about The Lord of The Rings and Tolkien...it was my favorite class of all time...and I got an A :D
-I <3 Keith Olbermann and Rachel Maddow
-I am addicted to certain TV shows:
*Good Eats
*Countdown w/ Keith Olbermann
*Battlestar Galactica
*Veronica Mars
*Firefly, Angel, and Buffy (in that order)
*Moonlight (Damn you CBS, damn you all to hell!)
*Sanctuary on Sci-Fi Channel
-I'm getting into Manga and Manhwa (Korean comics). So far I enjoy reading:
*The Tarot Cafe
*Telepathic Wanderers
*Ouran High School Host Club
*Vampire Knight (I am also enjoying the anime version on youtube)
*Kitchen Princess (although I haven't read much of it yet...)
*Gakuen Alice (Also one I haven't read much of, but I've enjoyed what I HAVE read so far)
-I also enjoy Western comics. I like:
*Cry For Dawn
*Grimm Fairy Tales
*Books of Magic
My current obsession is Medieval and Renaissance Arts- such as sewing, music, and archery.
Actually, sewing in general has become an obsession. I'm trying to teach myself. I am specifically interested in costuming and retro or historical garments.
